Noblewood Farm currently is offering an in utero foal for sale in Missouri, due date late summer 2007. This foal is out of an rare American Bashkir Curly Mare sired by the Friesian dressage stallion Remco. This Bashkir Curly mare is suspected to be homozygous to pass curls to her friesian sporthorse offspring (suspected, as there is currently not test to prove a curly horse is homozygous for the gene) This means we fully expect to offer for sale a full bodied friesian sporthorse colt or filly that will exhibit the curly gene in a ringleted winter coat and a long curly mane and tail. Horses who poses the curly gene are known to be hypoallergenic, so people allergic to purebred Friesian will be able to handle this Friesian Sporthorse cross with no allergic reaction.
If you've been looking for a young Friesian Sporthorse this may be the right horse for you. Remco, an imported and keured purebred stallion exhibits classic Friesian presence and movement, and the mare has been evaluated by a dressage trainer and determined to have excellent gaits suitable for upper level training with refinement. This frisian sporthorse foal will be registerable with the Friesian Sporthorse Registry or Curly Sporthorse International. This Sporthorse foal is a one-in-a-million combination. Two breeds that turn heads everywhere, crossed with quality, to create a hypoallergenic Friesian sporthorse with curls!
This yet to be named Friesian Sporthorse foal is for sale in utero for $5,500. If not sold, price will increase once foaled and standing.
