But alas, the curly is faster than the carrot. The carrot holds no hope of escape now:

The nearby carrot patch stands in silence, presumably rendered speechless by the violence they are witnessing.

Seeing that the carrot is clearly fighting back, Curly #2 steps in to aide her comrade:

Curly #2 restrains the carrot while Curly #1 completes the gruesome act:

Clearly uncomfortable with the prolonged pain curly #1 is exposing the carrot to, Curly #2 steps in to quickly put an end to the suffering.

With the carrot now fully subdued and no longer struggling, Curly #1 takes her time savoring the taste of the carrot's poor lifeless body
